    We enjoy a full range of architectural services from interior design to new buildings.  Our projects are mostly local residential, but we also do historic rehabilitation and commercial projects. Our focus is in minimizing environmental impacts and creating comfortable, energy efficient spaces to live and work.  My wife, Megan Donner, and I live within one mile of downtown so I often ride a bike to work. We are also members of the Petaluma Wheelmen.

     

    I have been on the Petaluma Planning Commission for about 6 years and on the Historic and Cultural Review Committee for 3 years prior.  I am also a member of the Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council.  Over the last 3 years we have overseen the expansion of both Cordell Bank and the Gulf of the Farallones Marin Sanctuary in Point Arena.

    Although Sonya & Company Hair was established and began doing business in 2012, Proprietor Sonya Marie Karr has been working in the historic McNear Building lower quarters for over 12 years, previously with Tina's Underground. 

     

    As a hair professional and color specialist for over 3 decades, Sonya enjoys a diverse and eclectic clientele, some loyal for over 25 years. 

     

    The shop is as unique and inviting as Sonya herself, who works with each client in an embracing and engaging way to achieve a look that is not only beautiful, but inspires confidence. New to services, residing hair stylist, Linda, will be offering eye lash extensions.
